Detailed Itinerary

Day 01 Arrival at Jodhpur & Drive to Jaisalmer

Upon your arrival in Jodhpur, our cab driver will pick you up from your hotel, airport, or railway station & proceed to Jaisalmer, which is a 5-hour journey covering approximately 280 km. Along the way, we will pass through the ancient town of Osiyan, known for its beautifully sculpted temples, and stop at Kheechan village, a haven for migratory birds.

Alternatively, you may choose to visit Pokharan village, a remote location in the Thar Desert that served as the test site for India’s first underground nuclear weapon and ballistic missiles.
By the evening, around 4-5 p.m., you will arrive at your hotel in Jaisalmer and have time to relax. You can also plan an evening walking tour to explore the charm of the Golden City of Rajasthan.

We Usually Recommend: Take a Last Drop off at Gadisagar Lake so that You can Enjoy the Laser Light & Sound Show in the evening. Which Starts at 6:00 p.m to remains till 8:00 p.m

Day 02 Jaisalmer Sightseeing Tour & Stay in Thar Desert Camp

After breakfast, check out of your hotel in Jaisalmer and go on a sightseeing tour to explore the splendid monuments that beautifully blend history and modernity. During this tour, you will visit:

Jaisalmer Fort
Patwon Ki Haveli
Nathmal Ji Ki Haveli
Bada Bagh Jaisalmer

After lunch, around 3 p.m., you will drive to the Sam Sand Dunes in the Thar Desert, which is approximately 45 km from Jaisalmer. The drive will take about 60 minutes. Here, you will enjoy a night similar to “Arabian Nights,” staying overnight in a tent on the dunes. The day’s activities include:

Check in at your pre-booked desert camp.
Enjoying a desert safari tour along with a sunset view at Sam Sand Dunes.
Experiencing a traditional Rajasthani musical dance program in the Desert Camp.
Savoring a complimentary buffet dinner.

Later, you will spend the night at the Desert Camp, surrounded by the enchanting desert landscape.

Day 03 Jaisalmer to Tanot Longewala Border Same Day Tour

After enjoying breakfast this morning, we will check out of our desert camp. Our journey begins as we drive straight to the Tanot and Longewala Border, a distance of about 2.5 hours by car from Jaisalmer.
Once we arrive at Longewala, we will have the opportunity to explore the fascinating sights, including the war museum that commemorates the battles fought in this historic area.
Visit the Tanot Mata temple, located near the India-Pakistan border and close to the Longewala battle site from the 1971 Indo-Pakistani War. Folklore suggests that the blessings of Tanot Mata helped the Indian forces win the battle. The temple attracts both pilgrims and history lovers and offers a unique mix of spiritual and historical experiences in a beautiful setting.
After lunch, we will drive back to Jaisalmer, which is about 130 kilometers from Longewala. This drive will take around 3 hours and will show us beautiful landscapes along the way.
On the way, you will have the chance to visit Kuldhara, an abandoned village in the Jaisalmer district of Rajasthan
Later evening, stay overnight in Jaisalmer Hotel.

Day 04 Jaisalmer to Jodhpur Drive

After breakfast, check out of your Jaisalmer hotel and proceed on a five-hour drive to Jodhpur, known as the Blue City of Rajasthan.
Arriving in the early afternoon, you can check into your hotel and refresh.
In the late afternoon, visit the magnificent Mehrangarh Fort, where you can explore its courtyards and museums while enjoying stunning views of the city.
Next, stroll through the serene gardens of Jaswant Thada, a beautiful marble cenotaph dedicated to Maharaja Jaswant Singh II.
In the evening, visit the Clock Tower, known as Ghanta Ghar. Enjoy its beautiful architecture. After that, have dinner at a nearby restaurant that offers local and international dishes.
Later overnight stay at the Jodhpur Hotel.

Day 05 Jodhpur Tour & Departure

After breakfast, check out from your hotel in Jodhpur. Before you leave, you can visit a couple of nearby places.
First, go to Toorji Ka Jhalra. This stepwell was built in the 1740s by the queen of Maharaja Abhai Singh. It features beautiful carvings and offers a peaceful spot to relax.
Next, visit Mandore Garden. This garden is famous for its temples and memorials for the kings of Marwar. You can enjoy the lush plants and colorful flowers while walking around.
After your visits, head to Jodhpur Airport or the railway station to catch your train or flight back home.
