🕕06:00 A.MPick up from Delhi ( Anywhere in NCR)

  • Our cab driver is available to pick you up from any location within Delhi, including your hotel, the airport, the train station, or any other place of your choice, between 5-7 a.m.
  • Complete the 190 km distance, which is a 3.5-hour drive via the Expressway. Do Breakfast on the Delhi- Mathura Route. 
  • Upon arrival in Mathura, the journey starts with a visit to the Dwarkadhish temple.

🕙 10:00 A.MTour of Shri Dwarkadhish Temple

  • Our first stop in Mathura is the Shri Dwarkadhish Temple. This temple is dedicated to Lord Krishna and is one of the oldest and largest in the area.
  • Inside, you will find a black marble idol of Lord Dwarkadheesh, also known as Dwarkanath.
  • Shri Dwarkadhish Temple is located on Pathak Gali, near the Yamuna ghats, outside the city’s sacred gate.
  • There is no entry fee to visit the temple, so both Indian and international visitors can enjoy it.

After spending some time at the temple, we will head to our next destination: Shri Krishna Janambhoomi, the birthplace of Lord Krishna

🕐 11:30 A.M Tour of Shri Krishna Janambhoomi, the birthplace of Lord Krishna

  • Visit Shri Krishna Janambhoomi, the birthplace of Lord Krishna, in Mathura. This site is important because it is where Lord Krishna was born in the prison of the cruel king Kansa. He freed His parents, Vasudeva and Devaki.
  • Inside the complex, there are three main temples. The Keshavdev Temple is dedicated to Krishna. The Garbh Griha is where Krishna is believed to have been born during the Dvapar Yuga. The Bhagavata Bhavan is home to the deities Radha and Krishna.
  • These temples have been destroyed many times throughout history. The most recent destruction was in 1670 by the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb, who built the Shahi Eidgah mosque there, which still stands today.
  • Plan to spend about 45-50 minutes at this important site. You can explore the temple and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere filled with prayers and devotion.

🕐 01:00 P.M Tour of Nidhivan Vrindavan

  • After visiting Mathura, you will drive to Vrindavan to see Nidhivan. Nidhivan is a special grove in Vrindavan where people believe that Lord Krishna, Radha, and the Gopis perform a divine dance called Raas Leela every night. It is also known as the “Forest of Tulsi” because it has many Tulsi plants.
  • According to this belief, the gates of the temple are locked at sunset, and no one can stay inside after dark. People say that the trees in Nidhivan are the Gopis in disguise, who return to their original forms at night to join the dance.
  • Nidhivan is also where the idol of Banke Bihari, a form of Lord Krishna, is said to have appeared.
  • Plan to spend about 45-50 minutes at this important site. You can explore the temple and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere filled with prayers and devotion.

  • The name “Banke” means bent in three places, and “Bihari” means the enjoyer, which refers to Krishna’s well-known posture.
  • Originally, the idol was worshipped in Nidhivan, a sacred grove in Vrindavan known for its stories about Krishna’s nightly Ras Leela.
  • In the temple, no bells are rung, and there is no early morning aarti (worship ceremony).
  • Banke Bihari is treated like a child who should not be disturbed early.
  • During the darshan (viewing), curtains are drawn every few minutes to prevent devotees from looking too long. Legend says that if you stare at the deity for too long, he might follow you home.
