Detailed Itinerary

Day 01 Jaisalmer Fort Tour & Thar Desert Camping

Upon your arrival in Jaisalmer, our driver will pick you up from your hotel, the airport, or the railway station. Get ready to explore the Jaisalmer sightseeing tour to visit the splendid monuments that beautifully blend history and modernity. During this tour, you will visit:

Jaisalmer Fort
Patwon Ki Haveli
Bada Bagh Jaisalmer

After lunch, around 3 p.m., you will drive to the Sam Sand Dunes in the Thar Desert, which is approximately 45 km from Jaisalmer. The drive will take about 60 minutes. Here, you will enjoy a night similar to “Arabian Nights,” staying overnight in a tent on the dunes. The day’s activities include:

Check in at your pre-booked desert camp.
Enjoying a desert safari tour along with a sunset view at Sam Sand Dunes.
Experiencing a traditional Rajasthani musical dance program in the Desert Camp.
Savoring a complimentary buffet dinner.

Later, you will spend the night at the Desert Camp, surrounded by the enchanting desert landscape.

Day 02 Jaisalmer to Tanot Longewala Border Same Day Tour

After enjoying breakfast this morning, check out of our desert camp. Journey begins drive to the Tanot and Longewala Border, a distance of about 2.5 hours by car from Jaisalmer.
Once arrive at Longewala, explore the fascinating sights, including the war museum that commemorates the battles fought in this historic area.
Visit the Tanot Mata temple, located near the India-Pakistan border and close to the Longewala battle site from the 1971 Indo-Pakistani War. Folklore suggests that the blessings of Tanot Mata helped the Indian forces win the battle. The temple attracts both pilgrims and history lovers and offers a unique mix of spiritual and historical experiences in a beautiful setting.
After lunch, drive back to Jaisalmer, which is about 130 kilometers from Longewala. This drive will take around 3 hours and will show us beautiful landscapes along the way.
On the way, visit Kuldhara, an abandoned village in the Jaisalmer district of Rajasthan

Later evening, stay overnight in Jaisalmer Hotel.

Day 03 Jaisalmer City Tour & Departure

Today, after breakfast, you will check out of the Jaisalmer Hotel.
Later in the day, you can plan to visit the picturesque Gadsisar Lake, the War Museum.
Vyas Chhatri: A memorial built in honor of great scholars.

(Optional Choice): Conclude the day with a visit to the vibrant Jaisalmer City markets, where you can immerse yourself in the local culture and shop for quilts, leather shoes, traditional snacks, colorful textiles, and handcrafted puppets.
